The Ramen King

Momofuku Ando, 96, passed away this weekend in Japan.
He invented the instant noodle in 1957 after seeing long lines for fresh noodles. He founded the company Nissin, who brought us Cup Noodle and Top Ramen, spawning many imitators.

Thanks and Farewell Momo!

Truly a stunning post. I think that the man did great things for me, beginning when I was 11 and started selling thai noodles in my prep school for 500% profit. His corpse will most likely survive the next ice-age with all of the salt deposited in his system. Good man.
